JRN launches Social Media for Racing
Joe Racer Nation (JRN) has been a concept to connect racers from BMX to the NHRA and every association within for nearly 30 years. 2011 will mark the first year of the social media aspect of that very concept.
"Social Media was not even created when we started Joe Racer back in the 80's", stated founder, Rick Ware. "Joe Racer began with selling shirts, hats and merchandise through mail order catalogs. We took nearly a decade off to rebrand ourselves in the racing industry and create a unique place where racers and network with racers."
The launce of JRN comes with great aspirations for 2011. "We are creating a place where industry leaders can mingle with grassroots racing, and fans of racing can join in the fun. We are partnering with product organizations, racing series, race teams and drivers to offer a one stop for racing and thats no small feat," stated Dave Mitchell of JRN.
Every week JRN will hold speciality contests to its members that will set the industry on its ear. The January 2011 contest will set the tone for launch with a "Best Helmet Design!".
"We look forward to talking to the billions of racers and fans around the world in the upcoming years and will be on location with our very own souviner trailer at all the Daytona festivities in February with special autograph signings and gifts for members who sign up at the events."
